For decades, Ian James Corlett has been serving up iconic, versatile voice characterizations across animated series, feature films, and blockbuster video games.
Ian cemented his place in voiceover history by originating the iconic English voice of Goku in Dragon Ball Z, alongside defining pop-culture staples like Cheetor in Beast Wars: Transformers, the original Mega Man, and Glitch Bob in ReBoot.
Ian has lent his voice to some of the biggest game franchises on the planet, portraying Mr. Fantastic (Reed Richards) in Marvel Rivals, Dio in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, and Fynch in Destiny 2.
On screen, Ian’s signature work spans everything from high-octane anime-like VP Baines in Netflix’s Devil May Cry, Miroku in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon, and Pilar in Cyberpunk: Edgerunners—to fan-favorite animation characters like Skales and Master Chen in Ninjago, Mr. Conductor in the Emmy-nominated Dinosaur Train, and Hugh Test (Dad) in Cartoon Network’s zany Johnny Test.
When he isn’t behind the microphone, Ian is behind the keyboard as an author, screenwriter, and series creator. He created the hit, Leo Award-winning animated series Being Ian (65 episodes and a TV movie), along with several other international children’s properties and published books.
Off duty, Ian can usually be found following professional motorsport or behind the wheel, racing his own cars.
